OVERVIEW
Shintaro Watanabe is a partner of Shibata, Suzuki & Nakada. Before joining the firm, he has worked for General Electric’s subsidiaries in Japan since 2010 as country-wide chief compliance officer and is familiar with compliance programs that are implemented by US corporations. Before GE, he worked as outside counsel at Nagashima, Ohno & Tsunematsu from 2003 to 2010. His practice at NO&T covered M&A and other corporate-related matters, as well as export control matters and other international trade matters. Shintaro started his professional career as employee at Japanese government, and is familiar with international trade, nuclear and other regulatory affairs.
